Update: City College Plymouth

25 Jul 2017

We’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded the TEF Gold award for our higher education (HE) provision! The College was commended for the quality of its teaching, the learning environment and the achievements of its students, becoming the only provider of higher education in the City of Plymouth to gain the gold award. It’s a fantastic and well-deserved achievement for our hard-working HE team.

If you’ve considered upskilling members of your team to university-level qualifications, we have a variety of part-time Foundation Degrees and Higher National Certificates available. Subject areas particularly popular with businesses include Accounting and Finance and Business Management. If you’d like more information on these, or any of our university-level courses, contact us on 01752 305026 or e-mail employers@cityplym.ac.uk.

Digital Leadership Programme

Investing in digital skills is a must for every business, and our new Digital Leadership Programme is designed to address these needs at senior executive and Board levels. Run in partnership with digital experts, Cosmic, the course covers driving digital innovation and developing strategy.

Mags Taylor, CEO at Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF), undertook the programme and has implemented many big changes within her company, estimating cost savings of around £100k in the first year.
“Ten months ago, you wouldn’t have thought it was possible for me, and the charity, to move so far but the Digital Leadership Programme has given me the foresight, confidence and skills to act now.”

The programme starts on Wednesday 18 October and runs one day per month over seven months 2.00pm-6.00pm. Full details and an application form can be found on our website.
