Plymouth City Council are hosting a supplier information day on 27th March - This will be held at Plymouth Guildhall, in the Main Hall. There will be sessions available at 10am and 1pm. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes, during which the Facilities Management and Procurement teams from Plymouth City Council will explain the contracts and offer advice and guidance on the tendering process and supporting paperwork. The authority is particularly keen on supporting local businesses and encouraging them to participate in the tendering process. The team appreciate that the whole process may be daunting for companies that have not had much experience in completing tender and bid documentation they may not necessarily have the specialist support that larger, national organisations have with the bid process. Tenders then go live on 7th April with contracts anticipated to be in place by October 2018.
