Details:

The technology is still relatively new and we are only just beginning to recognise how it could potentially revolutionise financial systems, governments and businesses alike across sectors and geographies. As this so called permissionless system pushes back the technological frontiers we consider the legal concerns this may bring.

Speakers include:

  • Oliver Oram, Founder and CEO, Chainvine will be speaking on the practical case studies, both corporate and public , as well as a global perspective.
  • Neil Clarke, cyber security lead for the South West at KPMG will provide an overview of the technology as well as the potential applications, opportunities and challenges that are being seen.

The sponsors of this event (Trowers & Hamlins and KPMG) have indicated that it is open to all DCBC members to attend, except those in the same professional service sectors (legal/accountancy).
