Rothamsted Research in North Wyke Devon are hosting this Big Data event for the agriculture and food industry to offer research and development support.  They would like to invite you to participate and interact with leading experts along with leading research partners including from the University of Exeter, Exeter City Futures, the Met Office, the University of Plymouth, Plymouth Marine Laboratory and Plymouth College of Art

The event offers great networking and funding opportunity for companies to discuss their ideas with the researchers. You could also apply for a grant from the Impact Lab project funded by ERDF and other funding agencies including Innovate UK . 

Who should attend this workshop;

SMEs interested in developing collaborative projects in applying big data applications for improving food production and environment futures. The local businesses could take advantage of the funding available to improve their products and services through the Impact Lab-ERDF Funding and other funding opportunities. Large companies interested in working with SMEs are encouraged to attend. This may include hardware and software companies, machine learning, imaging, visual, analytics, input supply companies, seed, fertiliser, pesticides, food processing and retailers, water & environment consultancy firms, etc.
