Ian will give an overview of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult Centres: what they do, where they are, what they offer, what priorities they have and how they can support manufacturing 

11.10 hrs Nick Golding, (Sector Lead, Business Growth Service (SWMAS)) and Clive Scott, (Chief Executive, Aero Stanrew Limited) 

An overview of current manufacturing themes and trends in D&C and a local case study on capacity building.

This section will look at new materials and processes for manufacturing 

CALMARE - Review of industry projects and research into remanufacturing, sustainable materials and the circular economy - Paul McCutchion, Commercial Manager, Exeter Technologies Group 

CALM - Advances in Additive Layer Manufacturing / 3D Printing - James Bradbury, CALM Co-ordinator 

Graphene - An insight into current research and developments - Dr. Monica Craciun - Associate Professor in Nanoscience 

12.15 hrs Tom McMurtrie OBE, Managing Director, Hymid Multi-Shot Ltd 

Tom will deliver a thought leadership piece on 'added value' manufacturing; the move from capacity to capability and the increasing importance of collaboration/supply chain partnering, using their experience as a case study. 

12.45 - 13.15 hrs Networking & Buffet Lunch and Optional Site Tour 

Lunch will be served from 12.45 in the café area near reception. 

Anyone wishing to tour the facilities may do so, leaving from the café area at 1pm.
